aniel “DQ” Quagliozzi is the Certified Feline Behavior and Training Specialist behind Go Cat Go—San Francisco’s leading in-home and remote resource for modern cat behavior advice and guidance. He has over a two decades of experience working for the San Francisco SPCA and San Francisco Animal Care and Control as a specialist in cat behavior, intake and adoption, plus 10 + years working privately with cat guardians in their homes and online. DQ is certified in Feline Behavior, Training, Health and Nutrition through The Animal Behavior Institute and is a member of the Pet Professional Guild.
Daniel sees cats as individuals. Just like people, cats can be introverts or extroverts, and each session should be tailored to a cat’s unique set of needs. Daniel brings a breadth of knowledge and a compassionate approach to his clients, combining what he has learned on the front lines of animal welfare with his own unique perspective and spiritual practice.
DQ also teaches behavior classes and hosts support groups for cat guardians that want to surrender themselves, not their cats, and “Live in the Meow”. DQ has been featured in Wired Magazine, San Francisco Magazine, SF WEEKLY, and The San Francisco Chronicle, and he recently appeared on Animal Planet’s “Why do Animals do that?”
